Prof. Banerjee is also involved in several outreach programmes for promoting science education, awareness and scientific thinking in India.
1. Breakthrough Science Society: Prof. Banerjee is the General Secretary of the All India Committee in the Breakthrough Science Society, India.2. March for Science: Prof. Banerjee is also actively leads the March for Science movement in Delhi, India - urging the government to improve funding for science and educational policies.
